Expert Dog Training. Right From Home.

Virtual Training, Available Anywhere in the U.S.

Through live, one-to-one virtual coaching, we’ll help you read your pup’s signals, understand what’s shaping their behavior, and practice how to respond with greater clarity and confidence.

You build practical skills that stay with you long after the call ends.

There’s an advantage to training from home.

Your home gives us a window into the routines, environments, and everyday moments that shape your dog’s behavior. Virtual training lets us work with what’s happening in real life, while you build the skills to understand and support your dog yourself.

Observe your dog in their space. Your dog can move, communicate, and make choices in a familiar environment. That gives us valuable opportunities to observe body language, patterns, and responses together.

Coach the people who’s always there with them. You’re the one sharing walks, meals, visitors, play, quiet time, and everything in between. We coach you through what to notice and how to respond, so learning carries into the rest of your week.

Practice right where life happens. We can work with everyday routines and situations in the places they actually occur. You get to practice with live guidance, ask questions in the moment, and build confidence through experience.

See more detail with video. Recorded clips can help us examine moments that are difficult to recreate during a scheduled session. We can slow things down, notice details together, and use what we learn to shape your next steps.

The result is training built around your real life, with skills you can keep practicing long after we sign off.

What are you and your dog navigating?

Dogs communicate in all kinds of subtle ways. Especially when something feels exciting, uncertain, frustrating, or overwhelming. Here are some of the situations we help people and dogs navigate together.

Behavior is communication.

Every pause, glance, wiggle, and change in breathing gives us information. Reading those signals together with the context and environment helps us understand what your dog needs.

A dog who barks may be asking for space, expressing excitement, responding to uncertainty, seeking connection, or communicating something else entirely. The behavior gets our attention. The context helps us understand what they’re saying.

We look at the whole picture: your dog’s body language, emotional state, environment, history, and what changes from one moment to the next. That gives us more useful information about what your dog needs and how you can respond.

Before we decide what to do, we learn to read what’s happening.

When you understand the signals, you can change what happens next.

READ

See what your dog is telling you.

Notice movement, breathing, posture, expression, attention, distance, and what changes from one moment to the next. With practice, subtle signals become useful information you can recognize earlier.

UNDERSTAND

Make sense of what you see.

Bring those signals together with the environment, what happened before, and what your dog may want or need in that moment. Context helps you move from seeing behavior to understanding the communication behind it.

RESPOND

Help shape what happens next.

Offer space, movement, connection, choice, play, reinforcement, or clear guidance based on what your dog communicates. Each response gives your dog information too, creating a conversation that becomes clearer with practice.

Read with curiosity. Understand with empathy. Respond with confidence.

Different dogs need different kinds of support.

Sometimes you need coaching while you practice with your dog. Sometimes your dog benefits from focused practice with me. Sometimes we need to work together in the places where life actually happens.

We’ll help you choose the kind of support that fits your dog, your goals, and your everyday life. Whichever path we take, you’ll understand what we’re doing, what your dog is communicating, and how to carry the learning forward.

A program tailored for you and your dog.

Every dog brings their own history, preferences, challenges, and personality. You bring your own routines, goals, abilities, and bandwidth. We build your training plan around both, then adapt it as you learn more about each other.

1. It Starts With a Conversation

What does life look like for you and your dog right now?

In a 30 minute Free Consultation on Zoom, we’ll talk about what you’re noticing, where things feel difficult, what you’ve already tried, and what you hope will become possible. This gives us a first look at the whole picture and helps us decide where to begin.

2. Then We’ll Tailor Your Plan

We’ll turn your goals into practical next steps.

Based on our evidence-based education, and over a decade of experience, we will identify what your dog needs and choose an approach that fits your everyday life. Every step of the way you will understand exactly what we’re working toward, why we’re doing it, and what you can practice between sessions.

3. Learn, Practice and Grow Together

Build skills where they matter, without spending time on what doesn’t.

We practice in the situations that matter to you, whether that’s at home, around the neighborhood, at the park, or somewhere new. We’ll guide you through what to notice and how to respond, while giving your dog opportunities to practice on their end of the leash.

4. Listen, Understand, Adapt, and Adjust

Your dog helps shape every step of the process.

Training gives us new information. As your dog responds, we’ll notice what’s helping, adjust what needs to change, and build on what’s working. Your plan evolves as both of you gain skills and confidence.
